November 4, 2022 (Oklahoma City, Okla.) –  The Stitt for Governor 2022 campaign has issued a statement in response to The Oklahoma Project’s outrageous new ad claiming Governor Stitt uses a helicopter to fly from his family home.

In a statement, Donelle Harder, the Stitt for Governor campaign manager said: “These dark money groups, who’ve spent upwards of $50 million dollars to lie about Gov. Stitt, have hit a desperate low in their despicable tactics. The Governor has never taken a helicopter from his family home. Their deplorable new attack ad has no annotations, sources, or evidence, and manipulates a press photo taken of Governor Stitt touring damage from historic flooding in 2019 that impacted thousands and thousands of people. The Oklahoma Project owes those Oklahomans an apology for manipulating a photo from such a challenging time in our state’s history where people lost their homes and livelihoods. The Oklahoma Project has exposed themselves for the corrupt frauds that they are, spending millions to lie to Oklahomans over the past year and creating chaos in our State for their own self-interests.”
